The Grundtvig programme funds small-scale, community-based activities. It focuses on the teaching and study needs of those in adult education and alternative education streams, as well as the institutions and organisations delivering these services. It is designed to develop basic skills and to enable learners to play a more active role in their communities. Supporting lifelong learning and mobility in this way also tackles Europe’s ageing population problem.

Associated partners:

- Associació Valenciana de Circ (Spain)
The project, entitled Research on the Methodology of Teaching Juggling: Development and Adaptation, is the transnational partnership of Hungary, Germany and Spain. The project mainly deals with pedagogical issues: its aim is to develop education towards European dimensions.
The participating institutions achieve at least 40 Mobilities in two years.
The objective is multiple:
- On one hand, we intend to create an accessible collection of methods - that adapts to the new educational environment - through an active learning partnership of jugglers. This new initiative revives education in the field of juggling and contributes to the popularisation of juggling in the wider lifelong learner community.
- On the other hand, in the future, the participating institutions will apply the methods by organising courses and workshops for professionals and non-professionals.
Juggling has a great potential in it: besides being a circus art, it is an alternative type of movement that develops coordination, body – and self-consciusness, maintains mental and physical health.
For collecting the methods, we will elaborate the individual experiences of jugglers: amateurs and professionals, sportsmen and artists. We will meet these people during the annual 3-day juggling conventions. Our plan is to organise Juggling Workshops that is a practical discussion where 20-50 jugglers can share their experiences. We place emphasis on teamwork since it serves the most the formation of learning partnerships.
The project carries the European values of development, collaboration, education, equality, tolerancy and freedom.
